About Me

I grew up in South Louisiana where life is about enjoying good food, good music, and good people. I was raised to appreciate the small things and to laugh whenever possible. In 2011, I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Visual Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I always wanted adventure and to see different parts of the country, so I decided to go to graduate school out of state. I moved to Hays, KS where I attended Fort Hays State University and received my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2014. During my time in Hays, I gained incredible experience working with college students in an outpatient setting and youth in an inpatient setting where trauma-informed care was the focus.

I met my husband on a trip to Colorado during graduate school and once I graduated, he and I decided to move to Western Massachusetts. There, I practiced as an outpatient clinician for a few years in a community mental health clinic. I loved this experience because of the opportunity to get to know that part of the country, especially the culture there. However, we decided we missed Colorado and returned in 2016. I obtained my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation in Colorado and was able to gain a few more years of outpatient experience. After this, I decided to establish my own private practice here in Fort Collins. Since doing so, I also obtained my LPC in Wyoming and LMHC (Telehealth) in Florida, and am now a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am also lucky to serve on the Board of Directors at ChildSafe and the Chamber of Commerce's HSP Behavioral Health Committee. When I am not working, you can find me baking, going to CrossFit, or spending time in the backyard with our two dogs, Betty and Luci.
